The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Onondaga Community College offers no-cost, confidential business advisement services to individuals and companies throughout a eight-county region including Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Jefferson, Lewis, Onondaga, Oswego & Seneca counties.

WhAT We DO:
In 1980 Congress adopted the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), which authorized the creation of SBDC networks in each state.
Our SBDC Advisor Team has nearly 200 years of collective business and business advisement experience. They provide customized solutions through advisement, education, research and advocacy for Entrepreneurs, Innovators and the Small & Medium Enterprise community. We tailor our advisement services to your specific business needs, providing individualized support in the areas of:
SBDC Impact:
The SBDC has served 823 client entrepreneurs by helping them invest over $37 million in the local economy, creating and/or saving 372 jobs in our eight county region (including Cayuga, Jefferson, Lewis, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, Oswego and Seneca counties) during the 2023/2024 fiscal year.
Partnerships:
The SBDC is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New York, along with building and creating relations with public and private organizations to provide valuable services for the entrepreneurial community.
