ABOUT NEIL MILLER:

Neil Miller has enjoyed dual-track careers as a serial entrepreneur and an academic. Most recently, he founded Farmshed CNY and Farmshed Harvest, which, respectively, developed the Farmshed CNY local food apps and operated one of the first local/organic food hubs in Upstate NY. After closing Farmshed Harvest in 2018, Neil managed North Star Food Hub in Watertown, NY and the Hudson Harvest satellite hub in Canastota, NY. Neil also holds a Ph.D. in American History from Rutgers University, is an adjunct professor at Onondaga Community College, and is the education coordinator for the North Central SBDC. In addition to general small business counseling, Neil has expertise in food and farming-related business issues, wholesale distribution and logistics/supply chain management, and crowdfunding.
