Keyona Kelly currently serves as Assistant Director of the North Central Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and Certified Business Advisor since 2016. She provides general oversight ensuring the Center’s goals and client needs are met. She is a trusted source as operational leadership, advisor and staff mentoring, while continuing to deliver high quality one to one advisement managing complex client caseloads.
With over 20 years of SME advising experience, she continues to combine her real-life experience, education, business consulting, higher education, and events coordinator background to create opportunities for growth, collaboration, economic impact within our local entrepreneurial communities. My goal is to make an impact within the small business community that will enhance the lives of all those involved, bringing together clients, programs, classes, networking, and other entrepreneurial awareness opportunities. She has supported clients spanning many industries—including start ups, family owned businesses, microenterprises, established SME firms, nonprofits and more.
Her philosophy centers on empowerment, education, and practical strategy. She believes in meeting entrepreneurs where they are, assessing their strengths and challenges, and guiding them with clarity, honesty, and actionable insight. Keyona focuses on equipping clients with the tools and confidence necessary to make informed business decisions.
Keyona is driven by the belief that strong businesses strengthen communities and provide for the families within them. She is committed to creating economic opportunities, expanding access to resources, and supporting inclusive growth across Central New York.
