Paul Brooks: Your Partner in Small Business Success

About
Paul is currently a senior advisor on the North Central SBDC Team, having joined the organization in 2018. Primarily responsible for client consultations from the Onondaga and Madison County areas. Paul has been counseling early-stage businesses for over 20 years. He has been an executive in entrepreneurship, equipment leasing, data storage, and communications endeavors. He founded and operated a marketing communications firm for six years. Paul was the Executive Director of The Tech Garden (now INSPYRE) for five years before being asked to perform a similar function for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra in 2010.
Paul has counseled and mentored businesses as diverse as additive manufacturing, hospitality, and personal services among the many clients (over 700) in his years with SBDC. He has always taken a personal approach to this work with utmost concern for the well-being of founders and their businesses. Constantly being aware of the consequences of his counseling in the life of an entrepreneur and ultimately his family. He is passionate about the efforts generated for his clients since no two are alike, but they all want to be successful. The satisfaction derived from assisting a budding entrepreneur to reach their goals is like no other business experience- Unique and personally rewarding.
